Our 429 White and 428 Yellow Plastic Tags are extremely versatile thermal transfer products for nursery and tree tags, lumber tags, brick tags, wire and cable tags, fence tags, pallet labels, etc. For applications that require a durable, tear-resistant label, these tags are perfect because they will hold up to stapling or punching. Having the option to “color code” a product with a yellow plastic tag is a great feature, too.
Their high-density construction is perfect for harsh outdoor environments, allowing them to withstand moisture, chemicals and cold temperatures as well as UV exposure for up to one year.
To achieve the best print quality and durability, use EIM T96/T97 or T84/T85 resin ribbons. For short term use and abuse, wax/resin ribbons such as our U39 or T44/T45 also work.
Our 435 Synthetic Tag is an excellent tag for horticultural and forestry applications. It is made with a fine-quality plastic material designed for flexo and thermal transfer printing on both sides. What makes this different from other tags is that it has a highly opaque matte finish that looks like paper but prints far better than many synthetic materials making it ideal for barcodes. Additional features include water, grease, oil and chemical resistance plus excellent UV resistance for up to 1 ½ years outdoors.
Our T96/T97 or T84/T85 printing ribbons offer the best printing performance and permanence.
Our 437 flexible synthetic “paper” tag is engineered through a special manufacturing process to make it an extremely high-performance product—strong and yet lighter weight than many other plastic tags. It offers EXCELLENT tear and puncture resistance, has one-year weather resistance and is also resistant to oil and many chemicals.
Suggested durable tag applications include lumber and horticultural tags, identification tags, steel product tags, and compliance tags. Thanks to its unique strength, it can also be used for security applications such as tamper-resistant wristbands. Our T96/T97 and T68/T69 ribbons are recommended for dependable print quality.
